The Special Events Center Gallery is located on the 1st floor of the Student Union in the far west end of the building at the entrance of the Special Event Center.

Special Events Center Lobby Gallery Exhibitions 2009-2010

What: Toast print portfolio organized by Wingtip Press, Boise, Idaho
When: July 29, 2009 - January 11, 2010

In January of 2009, artists Amy Nack and April Hoff opened Boise's first independent printmaking studio and workshop. The goal of the studio is to provide Treasure Valley printmakers access to studio space, press rental, workshops, visiting artists and a setting that fosters a welcoming and supportive community for artists who employ printmaking method in their work.

To celebrate their opening, on January 1, 2009 they invited nineteen Boise artists to participate in a print exchange and complete an edition of prints based on the theme Toast. The goal of the exhibition is to present this portfolio and to celebrate and support the fine art of printmaking and the nineteen area artist who contributed to the portfolio.
