The Student Union Fine Arts Program initiates a number of projects that request the participation of students, faculty, staff, alumni and other area artists. With the Boise State University Student Union Building becoming the geographical and cultural focal point of the campus, these projects support the Union's desire to integrate art into everyday living.
The Boise State University Student Union Building serves as the center for campus life by providing educational, cultural, social, and recreational and leadership programs and services that are integral to the academic experience. To further embrace this mission, as part of the expansion project, the Bay Window project area has been designated for commissioned artwork by students and alumni of Boise State University.
Open to all artists that are students or alumni of Boise State University.
Site Information: The project site will be located in the new Student Union Building. There are four separate agate framed areas that were formally exterior windows. They have been preserved to retain a distinguished architectural feature of the exisitng building.
